I’m surprised you po led the 15 pro max I have that phone and I can’t stand it 😂 camera shot the bed after 4 months and I’ve kept this phone in immaculate condition, no new innovative aspects, no new AI capabilities, battery dies faster and faster on its own and on every update AND if you use a USB cable instead of a USBC ended cable. Going to the S24 Ultra

I bought a new phone. I had android 8 and now i have android 14. It took me several hours to get the new phone to work a bit like my old. Its settings, settings and settings. And settings in settings. I hate it. Way too difficult. Why can’t it be simple? Ok, maybe you can transfer all of your old phone to the new one, but i discovered that some old apk files didn’t work anymore on android 14. So i had to install newer versions of it. The newer versions have more and more settings in settings 😵💫😵💫😵💫. Nowadays you need to be a computer nerd or computer expert to install a new phone! Why???? Lots of stupid functions build in that are useless, but you need to disable it. The biggest problem is where you can find it! Settings in settings in settings!!!!!!!
Arun, could you make a video about aftersales support from each of these companies? Even though devices are great, most of companies take your money and don’t care afterward. They have many bad practices, which I’m sure you know. Attention to such issues could make companies more responsible on the customer support side. It shouldn’t only be about selling the device but the lifetime experience of the customers.

I’m not sure why so many care about long term updates on OS, when the vast majority of people seem to buy phones long before a second OS update would happen anyway. But I also gave up on samsung phones long ago, the S5 being my last. Always had issues with their phones, random reboots while using it, or in my pocket while running, to poor battery life. At the time, the S5 was the highest end phone I had ever owned, and wouldn’t have used a samsung again but it was free, given to me by the carrier during a beta test for the new carrier. Within a month it was slow, and it still did random reboots like all of the mid and lower end samsungs I owned prior, and even with an awesome battery pack phone case, within a year the battery life was only 2 hours until dead with light usage.

Samsung. Not the flagship but the A15 (= a budget phone not even mid tier)
Because there are more people that use their phone as a phone and that don’t expect their phone to be a top range SLR camera nor high end Hi-fi nor a specialized gaming rig replacement. In other words, if it makes more than decent photos/vids, plays music well even when using ear buds in the less than 30USD range, runs apps and play the occasional game they are happy. Be honest now unless you feel the NEED to flash a high end top tier *expensive* phone that the majority of it’s owners don’t really understand nor use more then 10% of it’s capabilities off anyways why would you waste that kind of money on something that when it falls will break just as easily.

Whatever. You can buy a perfectly decent phone for 500 RON. It will do everything you need. Maybe not hard gaming, although I haven’t actually tried it. I got a A34 from 2 years ago. A lesser known brand probably caught up to that. And it works just fine.

Battery life is my biggest gripe. So bought the new Sony 10 vi. Love the fact that I can get 4 days out of it before thinking of having to charge.
