It’s good to have an unlocked phone for when you’re traveling to another country and use Pay As You Go. Whenever I’m in England or Africa, I use this type of mobile device to make contacts.

I know im a bit late to this vid. But i have a note 9 arriving in 4 days unlocked. I have never had an unlocked phone before and am not very knowledgeable with this type of stuff. Could you help me with knowing how to use verizon with it?

All Verizon phones are sold unlocked now. They’re the best. I have 2 unlocked Verizon note 9s. One on Verizon and the other on AT&T. My note 9 on AT&T works just fine. I put the sim card in and it restarted and loaded AT&T software, firmware perfectly. I have Android 10 running on it and wifi calling, volte, and video calling all work. Verizon unlocked phones at least Samsung have the gsm and cdma capabilities and radios in them. Those T-Mobile and AT&T branded phones are actually limited. Thanks for the video. 👍

I am still paying a phone off but I only got about $150 left on it and about 2 months before my contract finishes from my service provider. Lol I’m a impatient person and bought a new iPhone 11pro unlocked from apple. can I just pull the sim out my old phone that I’m still paying off and pop it into the new iPhone 11pro and still have my service and data on the new phone?

I can’t top all of these awesome comments lol, but you hit it right on the nail! I personally love unlocked smartphones so much. Every 2 years, when an upgrade is available, I always get the unlocked version directly from the manufacturer. Carrier versions have so much bloatware, which results in the phone being very slow. In addition, I can just take out the SIM card from one unlocked phone and insert it into another one.
You need to think before you speak . You are making this simple thing , complicated more then it should .

Unlocked as the best thing because then you can change your mind anytime you want to it means you got total freedom without any contracts I got an iPhone unlocked coming to me in the mail just need to know if I can use any sim card with it I guess I can or at least you’re right at least you won’t have to be a slave to the contracts thank you so much for your video I appreciate it
