This was an excellent review!!! I really appreciate rating the obnoxiously loud "Gaming" styling, and those awful gamer fonts they use on the keyboard. The Neo is definitely a good middle ground. I’m a big gamer & game dev, but having a clean classy styling is actually more important to me than performance.

I dont squat about gaming laptops I had to watch a youtube on understanding laptop gpus and geaphics then I used chatGPT to help narrow down of aspects to boil it down to MSI’s 14 but something said look again and I found this video omg I almost bought the MSI cyborg 14! Your fortnite stuttered because you set it to unlimited. It’s not a crazy desktop that is capable of hitting unlimited frames. If you can it at the screens refresh the stuttering goes away.

I used to have an acer predator helios RTX 2060 laptop that had massive thermal throttling issues, within 30min of gaming it used to heat up and frames dropped in half, even replaced unit had same issue and company refunded my money, I would never recommend acer for gaming, go with ASUS or MSI.
